JUNK FOOD!!

Junk food use to describe food and drink low in nutrients. They are also known as fast food. As the name says they are easy to prepare & can be consumed very quickly. They are low in nutritional value & have fat, salt etc. In it that cause Ill effect on consumers health.

The term ‘Junk food’ was coined by Michael Jacobson, in public interest to raise attention among people about the issue of junk foods that has high calories & a lack nutritional value. Junk food contains sugar in high quantity, transfer, polyunsaturated fat salt & numerous food additive such as monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lack healthy nutrients that are required by body like protein,vitamin & fiber etc. They are popular because they are good in taste and requires a very simple process to manufacture & to consume.

Eating junk food on a regular basis can lead to an increased risk of obesity & chronic disease like cardiovascular disease,type 2 diabetes, non – alcoholic fatty liver disease & some cancers. It increases the level of obesity in human body. As junk food are low in protein and have poor nutrition it causes heart problems, high blood pressure and it is also linked with depression. As our brain needs good nutrition, protein etc. To work properly and when it does not get it from their so many problems start arising and depression is one of them.
