Good Health Needs A Good Sleep

A good sleep is incredibly important for ones health. In fact, it’s just as important as eating healthy & exercising. Getting enough sleep is essential for helping a person maintain optimal health & well-being. Sleeping well makes us feel better, more alert, energetic & better able to concentrate & perform our daily tasks.

It is well-known that sleep is an important biological function essential for life. While we sleep many important function take place that help the body in physical recovery & repair, support brain development, cardiac function & body metabolism as well as support learning,improving memory & mood. Sleep plays important role in growth & overall health for children. Babies & children need much more sleep than adults.

Poor sleep contributes to long term health problems such as : Obesity, Diabetes(type 2) cardiac Disease, Poor mental health. Depression strongly linked to poor sleep quality & sleeping disorders. It even increase the risk of death by suicide.

Sleep need vary, but on average, regularly sleeping more than 9 hours a night may do more than good. One should sleep only for 7-8 hours a day.
